How long is each drum lesson?

Most drum lessons are between 45 and 60 minutes in length.

How often should I have a drum lesson?

Most students take one lesson per week for a total of 4 lessons a month.

I do have some students who take twice a month and will also accept students who take an hour-long lesson once a month.

How much do drum lessons cost? When do I pay for my drum lesson?

Tuition for 45 minute lessons is $45; 60 minute lessons is $60. Also see our reduced pricing 4 pack special. Tuition for the entire month is due at the first lesson of each month.

What if I have more questions?

Please contact me directly if you have further questions at (503) 997-5899.

How old should I be, before starting drum lessons?

I have had great success with students who are between 7 to 10 years old. However, that said, I've taken younger students on a case by case basis. My concern when taking on a younger student is that their attention span and desire may not be ready for the structured environment of lessons and the requisite practicing that is involved.

If you have any concerns regarding this issue, please feel free to contact me and I'd be glad to talk with you and work towards a solution that suits your particular child's needs in an age appropriate way.

Am I too old to take drum lessons?

I believe you are never too old to pursue your dreams and passions. I've had great success with my adult students. Learning to play drums can be a fun and rewarding experience. I encourage you to contact me, so that we can talk about how best to meet your needs!
